If you find yourself that you cannot resist to scented candles, you probably asked your self this:

"I really like this candle inside jar. How to reuse that jar for something else?"

There are few ways that you can do that, but we want to share with you the most efficient way for cleaning up wax residue for candle jars. Quickly and without too much mess.

All you need to do this easy task is following:

paper towel
boiling water
few minutes of your time

Instructions

1. Clean up your work space and take used jars from candles.
2. Prepare some boiling water.
3. Fill candle jar with boiling water.
4. You will notice that wax residue is slowly melting and moving towards the top of the jar, since wax and water doesn't mix.
5. Leave jar filled up with water on the side and wait until water completely cools down. If you want to speed up this process you can put candle jar inside fridge, but we don't recommend putting it while is too hot, since glass can break.Wait until melted wax hardens on top of the candle jar.
6. Spill the rest of the cooled water from candle jar.
7. Use paper towel to remove wax reside and throw it away in trash can.
8. Find new purpose for you new and clean candle jar.

Recycle!
