There are few ways that you can do that, but we want to share with you the most efficient way for cleaning up wax residue for candle jars. Quickly and without too much mess.
All you need to do this easy task is following:
- a paper towel or napkin
- boiling water
- few minutes of your time
Instructions
1. Clean up your work space and take used jars from candles.
2. Prepare some boiling water.
3. Fill candle jar with boiling water.
4. You will notice that wax residue is slowly melting and moving towards the top of the jar, since wax and water doesn't mix.
5. Leave the container and water to cool until the wax on top of the container hardens completely. If you want to speed up the process, you can place the jar or glass in the fridge, but let it cool a little at room temperature first so the glass doesn’t crack from the sudden temperature change.
