Instead of harsh cleansers that often contain sulfates and alcohol, natural clay soaps are a perfect solution. Clays, such as green clay, are known for their powerful detox properties—they absorb excess sebum, remove toxins, and help reduce redness and inflammation. For example, a green clay soap not only deeply cleanses pores, but also hydrates the skin thanks to natural oils that balance its lipid barrier.

DIY body scrub with coffee and coconut oil – step by step

This natural scrub not only removes dead skin cells, but also improves circulation, leaving the skin smooth, softer, and refreshed. Caffeine from coffee stimulates the skin, while coconut oil deeply hydrates, and lavender essential oil adds a soothing effect and a pleasant scent.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp ground coffee (fresh or used, well dried)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (preferably unrefined)
  • A few drops of lavender essential oil

Step 1: Prepare the mixture

In a small bowl, mix ground coffee with coconut oil. If the coconut oil is solid, gently melt it for a few seconds in the microwave or over steam, but make sure it doesn’t get too hot. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil and mix well until you get a thick paste.

Step 2: Prep the skin
