1. Dry and dehydrated skin
For dry skin, a rich cream is needed that deeply nourishes and retains moisture. Add the following ingredients:
Shea or mango butter (1 tablespoon each) for extra hydration.
Avocado oil (replace almond oil) as it is rich in fatty acids and vitamins.
Oily and combination skin
Oily skin requires lighter ingredients that won’t add extra oiliness. Modify the recipe as follows:
Replace coconut oil with jojoba oil as it is light and similar to the skin’s natural sebum.
Add Grape seed oil (1 tablespoon) that regulates sebum production.
Sensitive and irritated skin
If you have sensitive skin prone to redness, choose soothing and hypoallergenic ingredients:
Add Calendula oil (1 tablespoon) for skin regeneration and soothing.
Remove coconut oil and use Apricot oil which is gentle and nourishing.
Mature skin
Mature skin needs ingredients that stimulate regeneration and reduce the appearance of wrinkles:
Add Argan oil (1 tablespoon) for deep regeneration.
Add a few drops Rosehip oil rich in antioxidants.
NoteStore the cream in a sterile container and use a clean spatula for application to extend its shelf life. Adjust the amount of essential oils if you have very sensitive skin.
